CRICKET.

BLENHEIM V. SPRING CREEK. This match was played on Tuesday last, at a site near Gouland’s Ferry, and, as will be seen from the score, resulted in a severe defeat for the Spring Creek and Bush Club, Blenheim winning in one innings and two runs to spare. The bowling of Messrs. Morley and Flannagan was far too good for their opponents, as is proved by their exceedingly small score in the first innings. Morley’s innings of 18, not out, was a good display of batting, nearly every hit he made being against a strong N.W. wind. Flannagan was hitting freely, but was too venturesome, and “ Old Marsh ” stumped him. -The following is the score : SPRING CREEK —FIRST INNINGS.
