The Colonial s,s. Luna has been sent to meet the San Francisco mail. Dunedin, Friday noon. The trial of Rennie and M‘Lennan for the gold robbery at Clyde began om" Wednesday morning, and concluded last night at nine o’clock. ; Rennie guilty, and gave evidence for the Crown,* verdict, guilty. The judges - charge was favorable to McLennan. There was great applause in Court when the result was made known. Rennie was sentenced to six years’ penal servitude.
