The Gore Borough Council considered three tenders for a motor chassis for the Gore Fire Brigade at its ■meeting last evening. Before making a final choice a inb-coinmittec consisting of Councillor Christie and the town clerk, was appointed to visit Dunedin and inspect; and compare the machine with a similar one in nso in that city, the sub-committee to report at next meeting.
