The auction will form part of the programme of a concert to bo given by the Gore Brass Band. A Saturday afternoon will be devoted to the sale of tickets, and the Gore Stock Agents will also be approached with a request for assistance. The proceeds l of these functions will be devoted to buying votes in the interests of the Gore' candidate (iMiss Delia Martin). During the week a largo number of tickets have been sent to Invereargill to the central office there, and it is believed by the enthusiasm, already shown that tlie ■Gore candidate-will.occupy a high p.ositio'n on ijie list in the course of the coming week.
