Dr Lydston announced at a meeting of the Chicago Medical Association that hi had successfully transplanted a. generative glandi from a dead person to the body of a living man. It transpires that when he was unable to find a sub-1 ject willing to undergo the operation he performed it on. himself. He also implanted- in a woman the generative gland of another woman, 12 hours after the latber's death. The wound is healing quickly and there is every indication of success.
