Lambing operations are well forward, hut no big percentages have so far been recorded, it being generally conceded that the percentage is lower this year than was the ease last season. I understand that Mr Walders, the contractor for quarrying meta.l for the Artliurton-Landslip road, will commence' work during the present week.
