ROYAL STANDARD PICTURES. The star picture of an excellent programme submitted by the Hoyal Standard Picture Proprietary to a large, audience at tho Theatre Royal last evening was an Indian drama entitled "Geriiiomo's Last Raid." ' This film, dealt with the explo-ints of a notorious Indian chief, who, with tiro assistance of an officer, escapes from prison and with a large band of Indians raids the surrounding settlers, but_ after many thrilling episodes the Indians are captured by cowboys and Gerinomo ifi sent back to prison. A feature of this fine picture was the clever horsemanship of the cowboys, while the scenery was also exceedingly good. Another fine drama is "Boy and tho Girl," depicting the life of a small boy who is left by his parents in charge of a governess while the former enjoy themselves. In the park a little girl entices hirn away from his governess and they go in wading.. On the cliff above workmen engaged' in. blasting rock dislodge a huge boulder and. the boy risking his own life pulls the girl aside just in time. The boy's parents scold him, but the little girl's father tells them tie truth and tlhey realise for the first time that he is a son worth having. Other good items were "Broken Oath" (drama), "Three Girls and a Man" (comedy), "Through the Highlands" (scenic), and "A Surprise Packet" (comedy). At the piano Miss Stod'graas supplied appropriate incident ital music.
