VEILED MONUMENT.

The directors of t ,! he Pere la Chaise Cemetery, where Mr Jacob Epstein's monument on the grave of Oecar Wilde has been hidden from view by a great sheet of canvas, explains that in view of the unveiled character of the sphinxlike figure on the monument .he reported the matter to the municipal burial authorities.
