The Hawke's Bay Association forwarded a letter from the Hastings Chin asking for information as to the l!'!2 New Zealand championships, which it was proposed to play at Hawke's Ikn The matter was referred to a snb-r .>!«- mittee consisting of the chairman ,»nd Mr Hurley. The quarterly meeting of the Council has been called for Thursday, May ao. The committee decided to adopt Ayers' championship balls for tn> I';i2 New Zealand championships, r'b.j t 1 ; i:ij satisfactory arrangements b: 'ng made! as to placing an indent for orders. i The Australasian Association advised that the Buckley Ciip competition' would be held in Sydney on April 3 and 5 next, and that negotiations were still being carried' on with the. object of securing a tour of Australasia by an English team. Melbourne has been selected as the place to suggest to challenging naiio-.s for the playing of the challenge rounds ! of the Davis Cup for 1912. j
