FINISHED YESTERDAY

Yesterday saw the conclusion of the various games. In the final of the Rink Championship, Hain's rink had established a lead of six points (15 —9) over Hunter's when rain put a stop to play on Wednesday evening. On resuming yesterday, Hunter's side played splendidly and pulled off the match bv 18 to 16. In the final of the Champion Singles, Thomson (Northend) met Tiiriibull (Taicri) and a close game resulted. At the 13th head Thomson had an advantage of one point 12 —11, but then Trunbull came with 2 two's and had an advantage of 3 points with the last end to go. Thomson only managed to get a single and the Taieri player won by 2 points. The final for the Champion Pairs resulted in a somewhat easy victory for AV. Smith and J. Strang over Porter and Walker.

In the fjnal for the Suburban Match, Allnutt's (Roslyn) rink had a runaway victory over S'heddon's Clinton team. Rennie an<l Millar played the final of the Last Try Pairs against Morton and Martin, and had no difficulty in winning, the final scores being 17—6 in favor of the Southland pair.
