NORTH-EAST VALLEY FLOOD.

AN UNFORTUNATE EFFECT. RFSTDENT'> oniTlvc. PER UNITED r-RKS" • -.-s'VI ,TION ; DUN'KDIX, Doc. 29. A visit to North-east Valley this morning discloses the fact, that if one portion of Lindsay's Creek had boon cleared of boulders there would hav" been very little flooding. Last right the water got dammed up and broke across the low-lying township of Glenroy and met a quantity of surface water at the gardens. An unfortunate effect is that many residents are alarmed and have intimated their intention to cdve up their houses. One landlord has already received notice of the intention of six tenants to quit. Tlie rain eased up at 2 o'clock this morning and the waters are rapidly subsiding.
