TERRITORIALS IN CAMP. THE DAY'S WORK. At the camp of the Gore Territorials last evening was devoted to attack practice. A squad of men under a noncommissioned officer was sent out to represent an enemy 40 strong occupying a position on the hills facing the East I Gore Domain. As soon as they had time to select their ground the company was formed for attack. Scouts were sent out to locate the enemy, with instructions to hold their ground until assisted by the firing line. The whole practice was well executed, the scouts particularly doing their work well. The operations were under the direction of Lieutenant Shanks, Captain Domigan and Lieutenant Kelly acting as umpires. On completion of the attack the company was formed up as a rearguard and marched back to after which the umpires commented on the operations, pointing out any faults as well as the good points. On Sunday the company will fall in at 10 a.m. for church parade and will march to Holy Trinity Church for divine service, accompanied by the Gore Defence Cadets and' Gore Brass Band. In the afternoon the band will play a number of sacred selections in the ca'rtip grounds. The company will be inspected by the O.C. Battalion (Lieutenant-Colonel Boyne) on Monday at 7 p.m.
