COAL TRADE DISPUTE.

NATIONAL STRIKE FAVORED. Received July 26, ( J.lo a.m. LONDON, July 25. Twenty-six thousand Lanarkshire (Scotland) miners have voted in favor of a general strike with tho Scottish miners and 120 aro against it, while •16,303 of the Lancashire and Cheshire minora arc for a national striko and 020-1 against it. A conference representing 156,000 miners recently resolved that tho masters' proposals for working tbo mines under the Eight Hours Bill were not acceptable. If tho masters persisted they would request the -Miners' Federation of Britain to proclaim a national strike. The Miners' Federation Conference in London unanimously supported the Welsh miners, and in the event of a lock-out it- was recommended that a ballot bo taken throughout tho Federation to decide tho matter.
