Green presiding. Tho secretary presented a rough balance-sheet of the Summer Meeting, which showed a credit baluuco of £517 lis Gd. A return w.n» also presented showing' a bank bulauco of £llßl. Mr A. Latham submitted 'a report as to the improvement of grandstand and other buildings, and after considering the .whole question of buildings and improvements tit some, length, the Works Committee were asked to present a report in a fortnight's time, such report to include the cost etc., of a caretaker's cottage. MessrsJ. Latham and (■'. M. [Proctor (Oamaru; were nominated as delegates representing the country clubs of Otag-o and Southland at -tho-forth-coming "Racing- [Conference. The Sheep Dog Trial Club [was- granted the use of the. course for the holding of the annual trials in April.
