CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION. l'EIl UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, March 13. A claim for compensation lias been filed with the clerk of awards in this city by C. F, Franklin, an entry clerk employed by the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association of Canterbury, who claims £3OO from his employers lor paralysis of the left side of his face, due, ho alleged, to tho fact that he was required to work at a desk where ho was exposed to a strong, draught.
