GORE. Monday, Jum 22. (Before Mr S. E. McCarthy, S.M.) In the maintenance case Bishop (Mr Bowler, with him Mr Henderson) v. Hendrick (Mr Inder) defendant was ordered to pay 0s per week (or a lump sum of £3O), with £5 6s costs. Thos. Adams (Mr Poppelwell) v. Andrew Weir (Mr Neave), an action for assault. Defendant admitted the offence, explaining that he had mistaken complainant for another person who had first struck him. —Fined £l, with £3 10s costs. Tregilgus (Mr NichoJ) v. Waikaka Forks Dredging Co., claim £ll6s.—Judgment with 5s costs, Wright, Stephenson and Co. (Mr Bowler) v. P. Mcßorje, claim £ls 12s.—-Judgment with £1 10s 6d costs. Annie Walsh (Mr Inder) y. Chas. Murtagh, claim £5 10s.—Judgment with £1 3s (id costs. J. M. Barron and Co. Inder) v. W. Newton, claim £5 19s 3d.--judgment with £1 3s Cd costs. Same v. W. Kirker (Mr Neave), claim £l4 10s lOd on a judgment summons.—Ordered to pay forthwith, in default 14 days' imprisonment j order to be suspended on defendant paying £1 a month. THIS DAY, 1. L. Morrison (Mr Inder) y. R, C. Mitchell (Mr Bowler) £§ Is, balance of music lessons. Defendant counter claimed for £l. —Evidence was given by Mrs Morrjson and the plaintiff in support of the claim. For the defence evidence was given by the defendant, the Misses Fanny and Lizsfie Mitchell and Mrs Mitchell.—judgment was given for plaintiff for the full amount with costs of court Gs, and solicitor's fee £1 6s. The court then rose.
