NOTICE IS HEREBY' GIVEN, that the Southland County Council is prepared to vote Subsidiea in money at the rate of £ for £ on amounts raised by Farmers' Clubs and Local Committees for Destruction of Small Birds, either by poisoned grain or collection of sparrows' or linnets' eggs, to a sum not exceeding £20 ia each Riding. Any money which may be voted will be subsequently paid over on certificate signed by the Chairman and one other member of such Club or Committee, stating that twice the amount of subsidy claimed within the vote has been expended on the destruction of small birds. - TO INSURE UNITED ACTION, the Council will only recognise applications for votes made up to 13th of August meeting.
