Scenes at a Bull Fight.

At Yumu (Arizona) the carnival festivities euded on a recent Sunday with a bull fight, in which M. G.irc'uis and his company of Mexican toreadors took part. No accident i at all serious, occurred until, late in the afternoon, when an enormous black bull, "Diaz," eutered the ring. The animal fought desperately, goring three of the , picadores and four horses. At last the ' animal caught Garciaa on the point of his horns, tearing away a portion of his face. •' After shaking himself loose from his victim, the beast sprang headlong at the massive gateway leading into the arena, smashing it to pieces. The bull then ran into the street, which was crowded with people, tossing half a dozen of them into the air in succession, and overturning several of the booths erected for the sale of confectionery and small fancy articles at this season. A carriage containing a number of ladies was overturned and the occupants pitched into the street. A little further on, the animal I came to a roulette table, where a game was ! going on in the open air. The table, surrounded by eager gamesters and covered with silver money, was in the middle of the street, i and the furious brute made a rush at it, and, I lowering his horns, tossed it high into the air. The bull then plunged firat in one direction and then in another, as if undecided which way to turn, but at last bolted into the main street, where, exhaused by his recent exploits, he finally allowed himself to be caught.
