CLEARING SALE AT STONEY CREEK.

Messrs Bhewer and Trembath report having held a successful clearing sale at Mr Carroll's, Otamita, on the 14th inßt. There was a good attendance of buyers, and evei-y---thiner was cleared. Store lambs fetched 7a ; a line of broken mouthed cwts, 3s Sd ; and a small pen of fat wethers, 12s. The cows, which wero a good lot, although in poor condition, sold at prices in buyers' favor. The following are the prices obtained — Dry cows, L 4 15a to L3; yearling, L2 5s to LI 8a 6d. Draught horsos fetched from L14 15i to Lll ; aged hacks at L4 j yearlings, L 3 Tip dray, Lssa ; dog cart, LG 5; ; and binder harness and sundries at satisfactory prices.
