NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Southland County Oouocil is prepared to give Subsidies at the rate of Pound for Pound to tho amount raised by Farmers' Cluba and Local Committees towards the destruction of Small Birdp, either for poisoned grain or collecting of sparrows' and linnets 1 eggs, to tbe extent of a sum not exceeding £20 in each Riding, The money to be paid over on ceitifioato of the Ohairman of such Club or Committee, that such Club or Committee has expended for the above-mentioned purpose twice tho amount of the subsidy claimed and voted, To ensure limited action, the Council will not recognise aoy applications for votes of subsidies if presented after tho meeting —12th July.
