Thursday, April 18, 1895. (Before Mr R. S. Hawkins, S.M.) John Mao Gibbon and Sons v. A. Home— Claim £4 8s 3d, attachment order. The order was made absolute. Mr Henderson (for Mr Fletcher) appeared for MacG-ibbon. COBtB 88. Jane Jamie v. G. P. Luke.— Olaim £2 18s 9d, John Jamie, son of plaintiff, deposed to the goods having been supplied to defendant. They were entered in the books by Mr Gibbs, Btoremin. Defendant had promised to pay the amount sued for. Judgment for amount, aad 6s costs, Mr Henderson appeared for pliintiff. W, P. PollooJt v. J. Jenkins and Tim, Horn. —Claim £10. Mr Neave appeared for plaintiff, and Mr Bowler for defendants. A Chinaman named Tung Chung had sold a hut to defendant Tim How, und had given a receipt for the money. The plaintiff had a claim against Yung Chung, and took possession of the hut, which he held still belonged to Yung Chung. In the meantime, Tim How had employed J. Jenkins to remove the hut, and hence the action by Pollock to obtain possession from How. Judgment was givoa for plaintiff, vt itli an order for delivery of the hut forthwith, and costs £2 93 6d, including costs of rehearing of the case. Jas, Beattie v. Thos. Jones— Claim £13 7s. Mr Bowl«r for plaintiff Plaintiff deposed that he had received from defendant a p.n. for £12, which had been dishonoured, but defendant bad promised to pay several times. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs £1 17s 6d, Joe Sniaill v, W. Aititen. — Claiming £3 14s Id. Adjourned till next sitting of the court. John M'Mnna v. P, Harilcy >—o\&im £2 17s 6i.
