Messrs Tomlihbon k Haywabd. ' ; Dear Sirs, — We have this B'eason dipped over 7000 young sheep, both Merino and LonjtWOOl, With your Glycerine Dip, and are! very well satisfied with the result, as the dipping kas killed not only the ticks and lice, but their eggs as well. We consider it far superior to auw of the Colonial manufactured, or any other Dip that we have tried ; one great advantage that it kas over other Dips is that it seems to dissolve instantaneously. The contents of alO gallon dram can be dissolved in warm water in two minutes, avoiding all the delay that is met with in mixing other Dips. We shall use your Dip in future every year for all our Sheep, aad we can strongly recommend it to any one for its simplicity, rapid action, and •eriect freedom from any noxious ingredient. * ' We are, dear Sirs, Yours faithfully, ! (Signed) BOYES BROS, N.B.— The Colonial Dip referred to in the above letter was that manufactured at Inveroargill, Prom J. B. Button, Esq. Garryowen, Southland. I prefer the New Glycerine Dip to any of the several Dips I have used. My experience being that sheep dipped in this Glycerine Compound are in a much safer and healthier state than generally results after the use of arsenical preparations. I can further testify to the general usefulness Of this Glycerine Compound for application to the skin of every animal on the farm requiring cleansing. I consider this new Dip an undoubtedly good one either for large farmers or general use on farms.' (N.B. Mr Button's flock is the celebrated Southland Lincoln Stud Flock.) AT THE LATE public trials of nine different Sheep Dips at Hawkes Bay, the Judges report as follows :— At the second examination on. the 18th October, we found the sheep dipped with Tomlinson and Hay ward's (Glycerine) free from parasites; the wool in good *rder, etc., etc. — Vide ' Hawkes Bay Herald,' January 6th, 1884.
