When the creditors shall have received 19s 9d, the Company are to be entitled to the remaining assets. The cred-tors are asking for the cash down.

Mr O’Brien, the Irish Nationalist leader arrived at Toronto yesterday, and in spite of his mission havi ig been condemned by the Homan Catholic e'ergy addressed a large meeting at that city last night. The meot'ng, however, passed resolutions condemning the views ,of Mr O’Biaen and expressing confidence in the Marquis of Lansdowne, Governor General of Canada, whom Mr O’Bren violently denounced.
