In the Legislative Assembly this afternoon Sir 11. Parker, the Premier, announced that at an early date he should introduce a motion for the adopt on of cloture. Mel no uux k, Th ursday. The full Court to-day ‘condemned Lord Deerhurst to pay the cost of appeal iu the assault case Deerhurst v Sutton.
Adelaide, Thursday,
The South Australian Parliament will meet on the 2nd of June and will be adjourned until after tho opening of the Adelaide Exhibition.
At a meeting of shareholders of the Bank of Adelaide to-day it was intimated that L 50.000 would probably bo withdrawn from the Reserve Fund to cover nossible losses It is announced that the Eedcral Council will meet at Hobat next year.
