Wreck at the Croixelles.
ALL HANDS SAVED,
Capt. Lambert, who arrived yesterday morpiug in the Tainui, stearr, launch, re ports'that, oh Monday night Che schooner Australian Maid, owned in Nelson, and bound from Nelson to Havelock, put in at the Croixelles through streis of and, during the heavy N.Vg, gale then blowing, dragged lier'anchor and went ashore. I£cr port side was stqve in aqd the boat was simshad up and burled some distance up the biach by the force of the wares and the gale. AH hands (3) got ashore sifely *nd almost the vessel b„b>g nn hiffh and dry. The captain in-
tended remaining at the scene of the wreck to await the arrival of materi.i from Nelson for repairing the ves*tl an i appliances with which to attempt to launch her again. Capt. L»mb:rt brought on; the schooner’s mails to * the French Pass.
