Mr Bailey, Chief Inspector of Sheep, who is now in- the Kaikoura District making enquiries vr the rabbit pest, will in the course of a' day or two make a personal inspection of Mr Godfrey’s sheep, Tory Channel, among which scab is reported to have broken out. Immediate steps will betaken to eradicate the disease.
