LARRIKINISM
TO THE EDITOR. g 1B) _Iu the columns of your evening contemporary Mr J. J. Turnbull draws attention to tho disgraceful conduct of a lot of youDg cads, at the eutertainment in the Church of England schoolroom ; and I, as onu of the audience, wish to endorse his remarks, as I think it high time that steps were taken to prevent a repetition of such proceedings at these popular entertainments. If the ringleaders (who arp well known, and from their pggitione ought to knqw better) had their names published I venture to think it would go a long way towards preventing a recurrence. Among the number I noticed the same individual who damaged some of the exhibits at the late conversiaione, ami who no doubt would feel tlie ultimate good of a severe lesson if brought to book, I am, &0., Ajax. Blenheim, Sept 2, ISS6. [Wa endorse every word that has been ssid on this subject and think the time has now arrived for the respectable portion ot the community to take this matter in hand and settle it..— Ed. M.D.T.]
