THE OTAGO CENTRAL RAILWAY
Dunedin, May 9. A caucus of Otago members, including sixM.H.R.’s and two M.L.C.’s, was held to consider the position of the Otago Cent al Railway. Three members were unable to be present. Resolutions were carried to the tfLct that, even on the Ministers' own showing, there appeared to be a balance of Loo,ooo of last year’s appropriation, and tint the Government should place in hand a number of works specified. __________
