Matamata. Miss B. Cleland, of Wanganui, was the guest of Misses D. Egan and C. Geraghty, of Matamata, for the latter part of last week. Miss M. Hopkins, of the nursing staff of the Auckland Hospital, has returned to duty after a three weeks’ holiday, part of which was spent with her parents motoring in the southern districts of the North Island.

M/*rrinsville. Mrs. R. Hodges is visiting Auckland. Mrs. Ouram, of Te Awamutu, is visiting friends at Tauhei. Mr. and Mrs. G. McLachlan have left for Christchurch, where they will reside in future. Mrs. D. Allen, of Tauhei road, has returned from a holiday at Wellington. Mrs. Spencer, who has been staying with Mrs. J. S. Cassidy, has returned to Auckland. Mr. Ross Nash, of Auckland, is staying with Mr. S. G. Brewis, of Tahuna road.
