Goodwin, blue georgette.
Fancy Dress Ball. About 200 people were present at a very successful ball held in the Okoroire Hall on Tuesday evening. The hall was tastefully decorated with multi-coloured streamers and balloons. Mr. R. Marshall played an extra and Mr. B. Castleton made an efficient M.C. A Rotorua orchestra provided excellent music. Prizes were given for the following costumes:— Ladies.—Best costume: Miss L. Johnson (Madame Pompadour). Most original costume: Miss J. Carruth (Mickey Mouse). Men.—Best costume: Mr. C. Hardwick (Chinese Man).
