To Remove Ink Stains from Silver. A paste of chloride of lime and water will be found useful for rtmoving ink stains from silver or plated articles. It should be left for a short time and then 'washed off with -warm water. Gilt Frames and Ornamental Woodwork. Into «ne pint of water mix enough flowers of sulphur to give a deep yellowish tint, and boil thii solution with two or three onions. Strain the liquid, apply it to the article to be cleaned, using a soft brush, and leave to .dry. Polish lightly with chamois eather. ;
