Brilliant Dance. Last Monday night the Walton* liall was the scene of a brilliant dance organised by Mr. von Stunner.Despite the weather over 50 couples turned up to dance to the strains of the very excellent music supplied by. Pennells’ orchestra. A large number of visitors were present from Matamata, Morrinsville, Waharoa, Waitoa, Te Aroha and Kereone. After a very dainty supper had been served dancing was continued till an. early hour. A special feature of the evening was the beautifully-decorated hall, pink and black streamers being used in a very effective design. Added gaities were balloons and confetti, also novelty dances. The winners of the Monte Carlo were Miss Skinner and Mr. Flannigan. Miss R. Wilson and Mr. Kirby won the spot waltz. Extras were supplied by Miss E. Kirk and Messrs. Griffiths Bros., K. von Sturmer and O’Sullivan. Groube, shot pink taffeta ; Groube, lemon georgette ; Wilcox, green silk net, black shawl ; D. Ganley, pink crepe de chine ; T. Young, lemon crepe de chine ; B. Lockley, pink net ; M. Lo.ckley, black velvet, trimmed with sequins; G. Allan, flame silk, gold lace ; P. Allan, blue embroidered georgette ; P. Reynolds, black-crepe de. chine, lace overdress, and Rhinestone girdle ; B. Myles, pink georgette, silver lace ; P; Caseby, blue georgette ; Muir, red georgette ; Vv Wilkins, black silk ; K. Wilkins, crimson rayon and lace ; C. j Blanch, mauve lace ; P.
