WAHAROA CLUB. ) The annual meeting of the Waharoa club was held on Thursday, when ! there was a good attendance of members and intending members. The annual report and balance-sheet, showing a credit balance of £3 10s 4d, were most favourable, considering the heavy expense that was attached to the links last year. The election of officers resulted as follows : President, Mr. J. Blythe; vice-president, Mr. J. Kirk ; committee, Messrs. T. Walker, W. Casey, C. Casey, D. O’Connor, N. East, J. D. Bryce, O. L. Lasenby, W. De Baugh, Mrs. T. Walker,- Miss M;- Casey and Mrs. W. P. Ryan; club captain, Mr. T. Walker; ground committee, Messrs. J. Blyth, T. Walker, W. Casey and D. O’Connor; handicapper, Mr. T. Walker; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. D. O’Connor. It was decided to open the links as early as possible; and it was anticipated that the links would be ready in about a fortnight.
