LONELY ISLAND TROUPE; The island of Tristan 'da Cunha . now has its troop of ££oy Scouts- They are called “The Penguins,” and number thirteen. Hearing of the forthcoming 21st birthdhy celebrationis of tin. Boy Scouts of the world, to be held at Birkenhead next surjmer, they have sent the following message to headquarters in London:“Best wishes for the great gathering in 1929. Sorry we cannot come with our boys unless you send an airship. We shall be always thinking of you and vice versa, no doubt.” ■ 'The Penguins” are under the Scoutmastership of Mr R. Pooley, the priest who took charge of the island last year, and he has the help of Mr. Lindsey, his assistant, as assistant scoutmaster.
