Euchre Party. The euchre party held in the Y.M.C.A. on Tuesday evening was very, well attended, and a very enjoyable tourney resulted in the prizes being secured by Miss Chapman and Mr. Joe Orr, while the booby awards' went to Miss A. Casey and Mr. R. Brooks. V

Golf Club.

The golf links are now in splendid order and much interest centres in the Bryce Cup competition, which will be commenced at the end of the week.

Personal.

Mrs. H. Walton recently met with a painful mishap when she fell down the steps at her home and sustained injuries to her head. Happily Mrs. Walton is now making good progress towards recovery.

Mr. and Mrs. D. O’Connor have returned after spending a holiday in Taranaki districts and New Plymouth.
