OKOROIRE.
A most enjoyable euchre party and dance was held in the Okoroire Hall on Thursday night. Despite wildness of the night, everyone enjoyed themselves very much. The winners of the prizes were as follow : Ladies' prize, Miss Goodwin; men’s prize, Mr. A. J. Willis; booby prizes, Mrs. Castleton and Mr. Geoff Crabb.
The party was under the capable management of Miss Harwood, Mr. P. Castleton and Mr. Ken. McCullough. The latter also carried out the duties of M.C.
After a dainty supper, which was provided by the ladies, dancing was indulged in by the young folk. The music was supplied by Mrs. Gubb, Messrs. R. Smith, A. Bragg and F. Crabb.
