PLUNKET SOCIETY CONCERT

The concert given in the Garrison hall on Saturday night by a company of Invercargill Revellers proved a star attraction. The concert was arranged by the local Plunket Society in aid of the Plunket Building Fund and the public gave it liberal, patronage. The entertainment was a varied one and the talented performers were accorded liberal applause. During the course of the evening, Dr Anderson, mayor of Queenstown, thanked the party for their fine gesture in coming to Queenstown to aid such a worthy project. He also thanked the Plunket Society for their effort and also patrons. The following is the programme: New Zealand National Anthem; community sing and sketch (cat); song, Mr J. Galloway; violin solo, J. Harvey; sketch, “Some Croocks;’’ song, Mrs ■T. Galloway; sketch, “Socks;” magician, Mr Les. Bapley; humour, A. Inkster; song, Airs L. Melvor; community sing and sketch (shirt); song, Mr A. W. Kummert; sketch, “Physco Analy sis;” magician, Mr Les. Bapley; duet, Mr apd Mrs Galloway; humour, Air A. Inkster; violin, .1. Harvey; good-bye, Company.
