Airs Andrews, of the Baird Party W'ho visited Queenstown recently, has returned north.

Mr E. Millis, Dunedin, is the guest of Mr and Mrs O. Greenslade. Mrs C. Xnglis, Kaiapoi, mother of Mr C. M. Ingiis, came to Queenstown last week for the marriage of her granddaughter. Miss Mona Ingiis of Invercargill also came to Queenstown for the happy event. They were the guests of Mr and Mrs C. M. Ingiis. Mr B. G. Sineock, manager of the Tourist Department, Dunedin, and Mr Guild Black and Mr L. Jackson are guests at White Star Hotel.

Mr J. E. Home paid a business visit fo Invercargill recently. Bov. and Mrs P. Anderson returned from Invercargill yesterday. Mrs J. E. Home and two daughters returned to Queenstown last Friday after a motor trip in the south. Mr and Mrs ,7. P. Fix leave for their new r home in Invercargill next week. During their long residence in Queenstown Mr and Mrs Fix proved themselves useful citizens. Mr Fix served on the borough council for a term and was always interested in the activities of the town, especially St. John Ambulance. Mrs Fix was also associated with several women's organisations, being president of the Bed Cross for the past two years. She was an ardent churchworker.

A very quiet wedding was solemnised in St. Peter’s church on Saturday last by the Rev. P. C. Williams. The contracting parties were Cora Maude, elder daughter of Mr Ohas. Inglis, and Alan, only son of Mr 11. Beattie, Temuka. The bride, who wore a rose beige crepe suit with black silk velvet applique trimmings and a small black model hat, was attended by her sister, Mona, who looked chic in a petunia crepe suit, embroidered in violet and a black straw and felt topper. The bride carried an ivory prayer book and the bridesmaid a bouquet of golden irises, tulips and lily of the valley. The groom was attended by Mr Alan Inglis, brother of the bride.
