Sisters that came to the farewell of J. Fitzpatrick on Friday last wore -Mrs Jack Scurr, Wanaka, Mrs Lindsay Breen, Invercargill and -Miss Jean Fitzpatrick. Mrs Pat. Mcßride and her daughter, Joyce, of Dunedin, were present at the welcome home of Pat Mcßride. While in Arrow they wore the guests of Mr and Mrs .Tas. Anderson. People who visited Mr and Mrs F. Chard of Gibbston over the holidays were Mrs Facer, Port Chalmers, Mr Ji. R. A. Facer and two sons, Dunedin, and Mr Eric Chard, Port Chalmers. Driver Stan Milne, who has just returned from the Middle East, is on a visit to his father, Mr W. Milne, Arrowtown. Mr Geo. Milne, of Edondale, is also on a visit to his father. Pte. Arthur Pittaway left for Invercargill on Tuesday morning for a medical examination. Miss M. Diaek of Lochiel is spending a holiday with Mr G. H. Pittaway. Pte. H. Pittaway and L/A. R. Pittaway returned to the south on Frida/. Mr Gordon Pittaway of Wanaka arrived in Arrow on Friday night to bo present at his brother’s (Bob) welcome home. Miss M. Sharp is on a visit !o her grandmother, Mrs E. Thompson, sr. Mrs M. Scott and son, Ron, have gone on a visit to Christchurch.
