STATEMENT FOR MAT, 1944 Estates to the value of £609,361 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of May, 1944. The total value of estates and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on the 31st March, 1944, was £66,788,292 and the new business for the 2 month> ended 31st May, was £1,129,839. Grants of administration made I y the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 288 for the mom' During the month 639 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executo' were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 501 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in ’ffie Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 126,123.
