Mr and Mrs A. Smith, Gore, paid a visit to Queenstown early in the week. The death took place at Wellington on Tuesday last of Mrs Margaret McIntosh Scott, wife of the late John Scott. The deceased and her husband were well known in Dunedin and Queenstown. She spent Easter here. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs P. Anderson, and one grandchild. survived by her daughter, Mrs P. The death is announced on June 22 last at Cromwell hospital, of Charles Gilbert Sturt Boult. Deceased; who was 68 years of age, was the only son of the late P. B. Boult of Glenorchy. He received his schooling in Queenstown and was an engineer by profession, having worked at Glenorchy foi some years. Among a draft of soldiers recently returned from the Pacific to enter essential industries is Gnr, E. S. Foot, son of Mrs A. E. A. Foot, Rees Valley, Glenorchy, and Pte. W. J.
