WEDDING

WATSON—KOCH A quiet wedding took place at the Presbyterian Church,, Queenstown, on Saturday,, morning, 3th October, the contracting parties being Ellen Louisa, youngest daughter of Mrs C. Koch and the late Mr iKoch of Glenorchy and James George, second son of Mr and Mrs J. Watson, Invercargill. The Rev. I). K» Boyd performed the ceremony, and the church was prettily decorated with spring flowers . The bride, who was; given away by her eldest brother, Mr Gilbert Koch, wore a trained gown of ivory satin, trimmed with real lace The frock had a, row of tiny buttons down the back. She had a beautiful wedding veil which was kept in place with a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of white clematis. Miss Anne Heads, of Wuimate, was her bridesmaid . She wore a very pretty frock of pink figured satin and accessories to tone. She carried a bouquet of pink (lowers. Mr W, Watson, youngest brother, carried put the duties of best, man The reception was held in the Cafe Royal where the guests, were received by the bride’s mother and Mrs S. Ryan. The former wore a black floral. silk frock and hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of red poppies. For travelling the bride wore a blue silk flora I frock, a yavy coat with hat and shoes to tone. The future home of Mr and Mrs Watson will be at Glenorchy.
