ARROW GOLF CLUB

The official opening of the Arrowtown Golf Club took place in glorious weather last Wednesday afternoon. "It was most gratifying and encouraging to welcome so many members or the Wakatipu Golf Club and visitors from as far afield as Dunedin. James, wife of the president, drove the first ball, after which Canadian foursomes were played, some good matches resulting. . The lad es of the club entertained the visitors at afternoon tea. Mr W. H James, the president of the Club, thanked those present for then; attendance, and extended best wishes for a successful season. Mr H. Torakies, president of the Wakatipu Club, responded on behalf of the visitors.
