WEDDING.

BUCHANAN—ROBINS. A quiet wedding was solemnised at St Peter’s Anglican Church, Queens* town, at 9.30 a.m. on December 22nd, the contracting parties being Marion Beryl, second daughter of Mr and ill’s H. J. Robins of Queenstown, and Henry Harold, third sdn of Mr Andrew Buchanan and the late Mrs Buchanan, Lower Shotover. The Rev J. X. Goodman was the officiating clergyman, and Mrs Goodman played the nuptial music. The .church was prettily decorated by girl friends of the bride with Xmas lollies. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore- a smart tailored costume in self-striped navy worsted and white organdi blouse, with navy halo hat and accessories to tone. She was attended by her sister, Miss Norma Robins, as bridesmaid, who wore a smart navy tailored costume, with pink blouse, pink Breton sailor hat and matching accessories. Mr Eoin Brown carried out the duties of best man. The reception was held at the Royal Cafe, where the bride’s mother, as* sisted by Miss Aiiecn Buchanan, sister of the bridegroom, received immediate relatives and friends of the young couple. Mrs Robins was attired in a smart navy blue ensemble, with hat to tone, and Miss Buchanan wore < a frock of powder blue floral silk with matching straw hat. Mr arid Mrs H. Buchanan will re* side in Queenstown.
