WEDDING.
MUEPHY—JACKWATS. The wedding' was quietly solemnised on Wednesday evening last at the residence of the bride’s parents of Evelyn, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Albert Jackways, Lake Hayes, Arrowtown, and Lawrence John, second son of Mr and Mrs William Murphy, Arrowtown. The Kev. J. M. Templer (Clyde) vicar of Dunstan, was the officiating clergyman. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a model frock of Wallis "blue silk velvet, made on long close fitting lines, with long sleeves and high collar, the only trimming being a pink velvet dress spray. A pink coronation headband completed her toilet. The bride was attended by her sister, Dulcie, who wore a blue French model frock, with silver trimming, also a headband of pink coronation. The bridegroom’s brother, Alan, was best man. After the wedding breakfast the newly wedded couple Iqft by motor car for the south, the bride travelling in a brown ensemble, with hat and shoes to tone. Their future home will be dn Arrowtown. . •
