Mrs D. Auld, Waitahuna, is on a A'isit to her parents, Mr and Mrs G. Summers, Arrowtown. Mr R. B. Godward and Miss Jean Angus, students of the Christchurch Art College, are spending a holiday in Arrowtown. They are the guests of Mr GodAvard’s brother-in-IaAV and sister, Mr and Mrs F. J. Goomesl, Arrowtown. Mr F T . J. Dolamore, Conservator of Forests, Invercargill, paid a visit to ArroArtown on Saturday last, on departmental business. Hews Avas received in Arrowtown yesterday of the death at Ross Home, Dunedin, on Sunday last of Mr Samuel Kernohan, a former Avell-known. resident of ArroAvtoAvn district. Mr and Mrs T. Reid, of Dunedin, are at present on a visit to relatives in the district. Miss Nellie Little, of Cardrona, is spending a holiday Avith Mr and Mrs. J. Henderson, Arrowtown.
