ROVERS A 41 v. SHOTOVER 9. ST. JOSEPHS 17 y. ARROWTOWN 5. These two matches were played at Shotover and Arrowtown on Wednesday, 11 tlx Aug. i To-morrow (Wed., 18th Aug.), St. Joseph’s play Rovers 13 at 3.15 p.ra., on the Park Tennis Courts, and Shotover play Arrowtown. Rovers A have played all their matches in the Gardner Cup competition. NOTES. The suggested date for the Yankee Tournament is the Ist September, and a committee of both Rovers and St. Joseph’s Clubs will meet later in the week to make the preliminary arrangements. Clubs would assist greatly if they will communicate with M. Inglis, lion, sec., R.8.C., Queenstown, before the 23rd Aug., stating the number of teams entered, and earliest possible time of arrival.
