OBITUARY.

MR GEORGE BUTEL. The death occurred in Dunedin on Tuesday last of Mr George Butel, a former resident of the district. Deceased, who had been in bad health for some years, was the second son of the late Mr and Mrs John Butel, pioneer residents of the Arrow district. He was educated at the Arrow Public school, and after working for a time on his father’s farm, he went to Waimea Plains, where he was engaged in farming for many years. For the past few years he has resided at Mataura. He is survived by his widow and a grown-up family. Messrs John Butel (“Willowbank”) and R. Butel (“Mill Farm"). Arrowtown, are brothers of deceased.
