Moonlight Extended G.S. Co. Ltd. Certificate of protection in respect of s.a.c. 2625, tail race 2332, and water race 2519.—Recommended for consent. Jas. Anderson, sr., and John Mills Butel—Ordinary prospecting license over 60 acres of Coronet Peak Station, Shotover S.D.—Granted, prospecting to be bv existing tunnels. Upper Shotover Gold Mining and H.EI. Co., Ltd.—Ordinary prospecting license over 30 acres ol Crown lands in Polnoon S.D. —
Mountain Terrace O.M. Co. Ltd. Extended alluvial claim of 5 acres of Crown land in blk VI, Skippers Creek S.D., on the south bank of the Left Hand Branch of Skippers Creek on Dynamo Flat, about U miles upstream from the junction of the Left and Bight Hand Branches of Skippers Creek.—Granted.
Skippers Ltd.—Certificate of easement in respect of ordinary alluvial claim No. 272:1, held by Mm. G. Gordon. Objected to by Mr Gordon. - In the September Court the desired certificate was granted, but the question of compensation was adjourned to the October court owing to plaintiff company’s manager being prevented by (he snow-bound state of the .Skippers road from being present.—When the matter was mentioned in the Court in the morning, and the appointment of assessors was decided on,, it was suggested by counsel for Skippers Ltd. that if was .desirable that the Court visit the locality in order to facilitate the fixing of compensation. Consideration of this was held over till the afternoon, and when it, was called after lunch counsel slated that a settlement had been come to, Mr Gordon having agreed to sell his ground to .Skippers Ltd. for a certain sum; and he was to lie given till the end of November to remove his mining plant.
