TENNIS NOTES.
The committee of the (Queenstown Tennis Club has decided to take steps to put down a third court. This will be laid in concrete.
The season gives promise of being a very successful one. Much enthusiasm is being displayed by members. An energetic match committee has been elected, and an endeavour will be made to arrange some systematic play for each week. To this end members are asked to make it known on the special notice provided whether they wish to play regularly on 'Wednesdays or Saturdays in the arranged competitions. fhe draw for the match for the coming Wednesday and Saturday afternoons is given below. Any others who desire to play and whose names are omitted are asked to notify the secretary. Mr It. Robertson, Town Clerk’s office: Wednesday Players. PRESIDENT v. VICE-PRESIDENTS.
